Granta Laboratory was established in 1957 and supports the group’s processing division with all their quality control testing.
Our laboratory offers fast, accurate and consistent testing as a service to the agricultural industry.
Use the selection tool below to filter the appropriate tests for your application. Choose your commodity (e.g. wheat) and/or use (e.g. farm saved seed) and your options for this will appear in the list below with pricing, turnaround and sample size required.
Products analysed include grain, seed, soil, plant tissue and water, with tests ranging from basic produce quality and mycotoxin requirements to microbiology, germination, nutrient and disease analysis. The laboratory is fully TASCC accredited and a Licensed Seed Testing Station for certified seed.
Sending Samples
To make our services easy to use we provide free sample bags and freepost mailing bags, or for larger quantities we arrange for our couriers to collect from you.
Three simple steps for sending samples:
- Complete details on sample bags (Please ensure you include a full address, contact phone number and email address on at least one of the bags)
- Fill sample bags to correct level for the tests you require (see below for details)
- Place your samples in the freepost mailing bag, seal it and put it in the post.
